Gear Max HY is an extreme pressure Gear Lubricant formulated from highly solvent refined base oils and special Sulphur Phosphorous additives which are recommended for use in automotive manual gear applications. They are ideally recommended for hypoid gear applications where loading is severe and excellent gear protection is required.

Applications
It is recommended for automotive hypoid gear differentials operating under high speed, low speed, high torque conditions, where GL-5 performance gear oil are required or permitted. Also recommended for Heavy-Duty, no synchronized manual transmissions where API:MT-1 performance gear oils are specified and automotive steering gears where GL-5 performance gear oils are permitted.
